Just read an article in the Novato Advance dated Aug 4th 2021 titled History we learned: Civilizing the savage. Reading it I thought "Wow. This guy is really good and right on!" At the end it had your picture and I said: "Hay! I know that guy!!" Congratulations! It was a wonderful anti war article.
I remember when I was a junior and tried out for the varsity football team with no experience.. Jack knocked me
down and I never got back up. After that he let out his rebel yell and I thought: "I don't want to play football ever again!"

Thank you Jerry for the birthday wish. I just go day by day. At this stage of life, I could afford to go anywhere or buy anything, but without Margaret here, I have no desire anymore. They have a big car show at Vintage Oaks here the first Sun of the month which I sometimes go to. You still got all your corvetts?

Jerry: I am so sorry for Susan's death. Her cancer was probably caused by Roundup as was most assuredly my wife's. All I can do now is tell everyone I know not to drink calif. wine. Google Roundup-wine. I go to mass everyday now. I will add you and susan to my prayers Peter

Thank you for your comments about Margaret. Her classmates from England said she had a "lovely nature" I am so lucky she married me. There is no joy or laughter in my heart anymore. I am only consoled by the fact we had A priest give her the last rites, communion, and confession 2 days before she died. Pete
